The Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport is 27 km (17 miles) east of the city center, near the suburb of Spáta. A large number of European and International carriers fly direct into Athens. The airport has excellent public transit connections to the city and the usual array of food stands, duty-free shops, and other airport services.
From the airport you can reach the city center and the Conference Venue by Metro . The airport Metro line is an extension of Line 3 (blue line) which takes you to the downtown (Syntagma and Monastiráki stations) and the Confernce Venue (Ampelokipi Station). From the Airport, the metro train takes 35 minutes to reach Ampelokipi Station and 40 minutes for Syntagma.

The M3 line (Blue Line) of Metro leads directly form the Airport Systnagma and Monastiraki stations as well as to the Amelokipi station (Cenference Venue).
Visit Athens Down Town (Monastiraki, Plaka, Psiri, Thision). croudy places where you will find taverns with Greek cuisine, beer bars and shops very close to the Acropolis and the Athens Archaeological sites.
Visit to the Archaeological Sites of Athens such as the Parthenon, the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, the Ancient Agora, the Theseus and the Archaeological Museum.
